Overall, Dragon Quest Builders 2 is a well polished game, but is not without flaws. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view.
I am used to play xenoblade and FF games. I never thought a cheesy game will get me hooked. If the fighting mechanics were made a little bit more interesting this would be a 10.
Overall it has a little bit of every element which I liked on the games I mentioned above. The story will not make you cry Its not the best story but its interesting. I think building the village itself, the progress and the reaction of the NPC is what I love about this game. The graphics is like cute dragonball. The NPC's has their own unique character. :) it has elements of stardew valley (the farming the crafting, animal crossing (because of how the NPC interact), minecraft and hack and slash games for kids. I heard about this game but it never interested me but to my surprise the moment I started playing it I cannot avoid the fact that I cant bring the switch down.
